What is Acne?
Acne is a common inflammatory skin condition that occurs when oil (sebaceous) glands get clogged, leading to pimples, whiteheads, and blackheads. There are several reasons why acne occurs, including hormonal imbalances, genetics, poor diet, excessive sweating, pore-clogging (comedogenic) skin products/makeup, and stress.
Acne can be a long-term issue that persists throughout adulthood, but this doesn’t mean it’s untreatable. There are many effective ways you can combat acne and achieve clearer, healthier skin.
